Cross Country

Because I am in a good mood right now, I will tell you about cross country. Yes, it is not the most enjoyable sport I have played (according to me), and sometimes it is hard and boring, but all -in-all I have fun doing cross sountry. I never thought I would, but I acctually am starting to like cross country. I have made some friends, I have gotten into shape, and I have had fun. I was forced into this sport, but sometimes I am glad that I was. My best time is so far is 23:43 for three miles. This may not seem so amazing, but to me that is awesome. That is a little less than eight minutes a mile. My best time for two miles is 14:21, which is 7:10 per mile.

HELP!!! HELP!!!!! FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok, well I was supposed to sell these things for basketball, my favorite sport by the way, and i realy could use your guys's help....or money.....just kidding.

Ok, well  I am sure you all have heard of Outback Steak House. You know... the house...with the steaks.... Well in order for the basketball team to get shooting shoes, pay for tournaments, and pay for summer league we have to sell meal tickets for Outback Steak House. Each meal comes with BOTH a steak AND a chicken, delecious garlic mashers, a tasty salad, and a scrumptious roll. All of that and only for 15 dollars! I could really use all your help! And, you don't even have to go into the restraunt,  wait for a table, and then wait for the food. The meals waill be picked up hot and ready in the drive thru line at the back of the building. You can pick it up from the hour you are assignedto on Monday October 4, 2010 nfrom 3:45 to 7:30 pm at Outback steakhouse. IF you live close to me my momma will pick up the meal and bring it for you, but I would really prefer that you pick it up yourself. I will accept cash or checks. I could really use any advantsge I can get to make this team. I really hope you can help.
Thanks again post if you want one! Thank you!

Dear America,

What is up! I have noticed that my popularity has been growing...somewhat. Wow. What a life I have. The ever cute little Bean kids have moved away, and in memory of my favorite one, I got a haircut that makes me look like him. And he is two years old so..... Anyway, I have not been impressed with the "talent" on America's got talent. Maybe we are not as talented as we think we are. After all, we are basing TV shows on foreign ones... I guess we lost the Good TV Making talent, because the Office isn't funny anymore. It will end this next season. It will. Anyway, I don't know what is up with those Darwinists, because they are freaky (and they remind me of Satan). I just watched Expelled on Netflix via my Wii (technology these days) and they are all talking about how evolution created the world blah blah blah. It is all about Intelligent Design, which means a higher being organized matter, not some fluke big bang.

YOU CAN'T BEAT L.A., BOSTON!!

THE LAKERS ARE VICTORIOUS ONCE AGAIN!!! I am pretty sure Paul Pierce is crying to his momma right now. Beat LA? In your dreams Celtics fans. Oh, and by the way, Paul Pierce, you stink. I hate that guy. And to Chase, the annoying Celtics fan in Tech, Taylor knows him, and to all the fans of the Celtics (why would you be one) IN YOUR FACE!!

Summer...I Love You!

Summer:The Best Season. Wassup World? I am back (for about the fifth time) and loving the blogs. I  plan on making people's day everyday. Anyway, I am kind of stumped on being witty right now, so I am just going to tell you what has been happening. School ended, and middle school ended too. Graduation was just boring. The people standing behind me were pretty much the most annoying people I have ever met. They had no idea how to act in public, and they were also... I am not going to say anything about that.....Went to Red Lobtser.... yeah. Lately, because of summer, TV is my life. Ok, no it isn't, but I like watching it. I think I do because I like making fun of the people on TV.....mainly on TLC....mainly... Cake Boss. That guy is one of the most annoying people I have ever met. Wait, i just said that. Well, I don't think it should be called Cake Boss. I think it should be called A Square of Cake With A Bunch of Cereal Treats (not rice crispies, cereal treats) And Fondant And Modeling Chocolate On It Mixed With Some Cheesy Drama And Acting Boss. Oh yeah, i watch Cake Boss, alright. Also, ever since lost ended, a part of my soul has just fluttered away, like a free butterfly. I think it went to the island. Do you know how many times the went back for something on that show? More than all the cereal treats made in Cake Boss. So, has anyone seen any good movies lately? I haven't seen a movie since The Blindside, and that was in December. Did anyone else think that movie was only good once? I got some glares in my household for saying that. Guess what? It's my B-Day tomorrow. Happy Birthday Garrett! You when around the sun! Good Job! When did we start celebrating birthdays? Who will ever know. Not me. Ok, I am running out of things to say so goodbye people and I blogged, so why don't you too? I am so alone... just kidding.

How To Win America's Got Talent

1.Audition in a town at least 200 miles away from yours
2.Make sure your act is singing because all of the winners have sung (Terry Fator wouldn't have just because he was a regular ventriloquist)
3.Have some back up story about how you aren't going on America's Got Talent for you, but for someone else(make sure some tears are spread)
4.Be likable/ have a sense of humor. More people will like you.
5.If you are asked "What does winning this show mean to you?" Don't say "A million dollars and a show in Las Vages" just say something cheesy.

If you do these things, you will win. Unless you are horrible at singing.

County: The Test to Prove Number One

Wednesday,March 10, 2010: County Tournament begins.

Thursday, March 11, 2010: Norris vs. Cecil Avenue. Victory.(2 points)

Friday, March 12, 2010: 10 dollars wasted on snack bar (so many Reese's!)

Saturday, March 13, 2010, 9:00 AM: Norris vs. Fruitvale. Victory.(Such a slaughter)

Semi-finals, 2:00 PM: Norris vs, Stonecreek. Victory.

Finals, 7:00 PM: Norris vs. Thompson. Double OT Victory.

Norris is the county champion. This was one great year. We called ourselves the Redeem Team. For the past couple of years, Norris had only got 2nd with all its talent (Alfonzo Jackson, Cody Kessler, ect.) in the County Championship. We put a great trophy in our case that night. May the next team continue this great victory.

Your County Champion, (I have a medal, T-shirt, and bag to prove it)

The Sport of Me

Don't worry, I won't insult anyone
Basketball is my love and my passion. This season I have not played as much as I want to, but have been to some amazing games of which I will not forget. My favorite, of all, was in Lost Hills. We were at at tournament and were ready to get some revenge on Tevis, who had played our 7th grade team the day before. They had pressed them and did not take out their starters until late in the 2nd quarter. During the championship game against Tevis, we were having our good times and our bad times. During the final 20 seconds, Tevis had the ball
and was holding it for the final shot. The score was tied 30 - 30. They shot, and missed. Jasmit Thind got the rebound at around 3 seconds and passed it to Colton Foster who took one or two dribbles and shot it a little above the three point line (on our side). It was a beautiful shot, like a normal jumper, and as i saw the ball floating I kept thinking, "No way. No. Wait.. Oh! Oh my gosh!! Come on.." and the ball amazingly swished straight into the net, touching nothing but it. After that, everyone went crazy, especially me. Like I said, i will never forget this game. We just won league Wedensday, and are getting ready for County.

"Don't Tell Me What I Can't Do."

Helooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo world!! Guess who is back at the blogging world. Me, Garrett Urmston, Ultimate Blogger, Cool Guy, Cousin, Nephew, Brother, Son, ect. I am back and feeling alive!!!! Why Have I been unBlogging? I have been too busy. Basketball, School, and home work has taken over my life!!!! While I am not doing that, I am usually looking for the long lost Charley who is always disappearing, sometimes to my house, under the bed, all over the place. I bet the CIA will hire her to do some espionage. She would never get caught. And, now that we have satellite television, well... I got carried away, but I am pretty sure my I.Q. has dropped since we got it. But, I have learned some important things from some T.V. shows like from Mythbusters, this key board i am using has more germs than a toilet seat. Or, from Bear Grylles, The MAN on man vs. wild, who is better than Survivorman (Don't even get me started on that) that all insects of any kind are high in protein, especially if they are alive and big.I have learned that the lost writers are getting their plot form a 6-year old (or at least seems like it) and you can't tell John Locke what he can't do, but that doesn't matter now that he is the smoke monster (I think....) Thinking about lost makes me want to take an Advil. Also, I learned that Movies on T.V. are just as enjoyable, if not more, as movies not on TV. The commercials are just bathroom breaks, and the movies are, somewhat, free!! Well, it has been fun blogging, but i have got to go. I have been up since 6 and at church since 7 so i am pretty drowsy. Maybe i can get some rest in before I go back. See you later, La Familia/Frinds!!
